Dubai Metro times announced for UAE’s new working week
The Dubai Municipality’s transportation department has published revised metro and bus schedules that will take effect with the start of the UAE’s new working week. Employees in the public sector will begin working full days Monday through Thursday, with a half-day on Friday, starting January 3, 2022, replacing the current system. All public and private schools around the country will adopt this policy. Although private-sector businesses are not required to migrate to the new model, it is expected that a significant number of them will.

The Red Line connects Rashidiya (near Dubai International Airport) with the UAE Exchange (in Bur Dubai) (formerly Jebel Ali). All of the stations have now reopened. The Green Line connects the Etisalat Metro Station in Al Qusais with the Creekin Al Jaddaf neighborhood. All of the stations are now up and running. Buses and trains can transfer passengers between lines at either Union or BurJuman stations (formerly Khalid Bin Al Waleed). The Dubai Metro Route 2020 is a 15-kilometer expansion of the existing system.
It is scheduled to open in January 2021.
Dubai Tram
DMCC Metro Station (formerly known as Jumeirah Lakes Towers Metro Station) andDubai Marina Metro Station (previously known as Jumeirah Lakes Towers Metro Station) are both on the Red Line and provide connections to the Dubai Tramsystem. The Dubai Tram links to the Palm Jumeirah Monorail at the Palm Jumeirah Tram Station, which is located near the Palm Jumeirah Tram Station.

At the beginning of October 2015, changes were made to the Metro start times on Fridays, which became effective. Previously, the Metro began running at 1 p.m. on Fridays, but this has been changed. In November 2017, earlier start times for all days of the week were instituted. Please keep in mind that the operating times shown are for the whole Metro system. The last train will depart at a time that varies from station to station. Find out when the final train leaves from your chosen station by visiting the onlineRTA Metro Timetable (choose the ‘Metro’ option, then pick the day of travel, line of travel, travel direction, and your departing station from which to find out).
However, because train schedules are frequent, it is not required to use a timetable.
Taking the Red Line from Rashidiya to the UAE Exchange will take you 1 hour and 8 minutes, which is the complete length of the line.

Fares
When compared to other similar systems throughout the world, the fares are reasonable. The purchase of contactless tickets or cards must be completed prior to the start of the travel. They are available at all Metro stations, bus terminals, and authorized sales agents across the city (Carrefour, Spinneys etc.)
Train Layout
There are five carriages in each train. The carriage is separated into two cabins at one end of the train, with one of the cabins designated as a Gold Class cabin. The WomenChildren carriage is located at the other end of the railway. Layout of the Dubai Metro’s carriages This new design was debuted in July of this year. The Gold Class cabin has leather seats and is generally less congested than the Silver Class cabin. The WomenChildren carriage has more capacity for strollers than the standard carriage.
Silver Class (standard class) passengers will be accommodated in the remaining portions of the train. Passengers who fly in the wrong class of cabin are subject to monetary penalties. Standard Class transportation is available.
Parking
Five carriages are on each train. The carriage is separated into two cabins at one end of the train, with one of the cabins designated as a Gold Class compartment. It is WomenChildren who will be seated in the compartment at the far end of the train. Transport System Design for the Dubai Metro System During the month of July, a new layout was implemented. Luxury leather seats are available in the Gold Class cabin, which is often less congested than the Silver Class cabin. This carriage for women and children has additional capacity for strollers.

Airport
Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport are served by two dedicated stops on the Dubai Metro system. They may be found near the eastern terminus of the Red Line, on the other side of the street. Metro passengers are authorized to bring two pieces of luggage on board with them (one large suitcase and one piece of hand baggage). When it comes to size, the bag should not be larger than the following measurements: (81 x 58 x 30 cm). The hand luggage should not exceed the following dimensions: 55 cm x 38 cm x 20 cm.
Connections
There is seamless integration between the Dubai Metro and the city’s other means of public transportation. Shuttle bus services that transfer passengers from Dubai Metro stations to local locations are referred to as feeder buses. Feeder bus services are denoted by the letter F, for example, F01. The vast majority of other bus routes also make stops at or near Dubai Metro stations. The majority of bus stations are located adjacent to or near the Dubai Metro station. Al Ghubaiba and Gold Souq are the two most important bus stops in the city.

WiFi
On the Dubai Metro, you may get free WiFi access. To connect to the service, choose ‘WiFi UAE’ from the list of available networks on your device. The free wireless internet connection is supplied by du, a local telecommunications firm, and is available to anybody. There is also a premium (paid) option that may be selected. It provides faster internet speeds as well as longer browsing sessions. The WiFi service is available in all of the Dubai Metro’s carriages. It is also offered at a variety of other areas, including Dubai Metro stations, bus stops, commercial malls, and beaches, among others.
