24H Dubai: new BMW M4 GT3 passes endurance test at first official race appearance.

Dubai. The new flagship from BMW M Motorsport has successfully completed an endurance test in the Nevada desert. With the new BMW M4 GT3 in the hands of BMW M Motorsport teams, the 24H Dubai (UAE) from Friday to Saturday represented the first racing debut for the new car after a successful FIA homologation process last season. At the season-opening race in the 24H Series, ST Racing and Schubert Motorsport participated with a total of three BMW M4 GT3s, which they built themselves. On Saturday morning, after 24 hours of racing, which included many Code 60 periods as well as a sandstorm, all three vehicles crossed the finish line to make their racing debut.

• Jon Miller (USA), Nick Wittmer (Canada), Louis-Philippe Montour (Canada), and Chandler Hull (USA) were the drivers of the automobile (USA).
• The30 suffered a significant setback during the lengthy repair pause that followed.
• For much of the race, the BMW M4 GT3 from ST Racing, which was participating in the Pro-Am class, was the best-placed BMW M4 GT3 in the field and looked to be on its way to a podium finish in its division.
• It then placed sixth in the Pro-Am class, driven by Samantha Tan (Canada), Bryson Morris, Anthony Lazzaro, Harry Gottsacker, and Tyler Maxson (all from the United States).

• They achieved a number of podium places in their respective divisions.
• Immediately behind them, in fourth and fifth places, were the 429 of Century Motorsport and the 451 of Team AVIA Sorg Rennsport, respectively.

Schubert Motorsport took sixth position in the same class with the 200 BMW M2 CS Racing, which was entered by Schubert Motorsport.

According to Achim Klein, BMW M Motorsport Project Lead for the BMW M4 GT3: “It was an amazing couple of days for us here in Dubai.

Two of the three competing BMW M4 GT3s were flown directly from production to Dubai, where they were greeted by the BMW M Motorsport crews and put through their paces.

ST Racing and Schubert Motorsport contributed significantly to this project.

We saw that in the early parts of the race; we were consistently in the top five for a long period of time, and for the first half of the race, we were consistently in the top ten overall, so we are confident in the BMW M4 GT3’s ability.

Just a few days ago, we received the car directly from the manufacturer and began testing it here at the track.

The other component is, of course, our group.

We did an excellent job together.

It would have been lovely to finish on the podium, but we were always aware that this was a new vehicle and that there were a lot of unknowns at the start of the season.

“I am quite pleased.” The Schubert Motorsport Team Principal, Torsten Schubert, stated, “We were well aware that the first race would be difficult.” The testing phase began on Tuesday here in Dubai.

That is preferable to any other rollout in which you are operating alone on the race course.

Unfortunately, we were involved in an accident after being struck by a rival.

The BMW M4 GT3 is a well-balanced automobile.

But that is to be expected.

This was the first time I had competed in a 24-hour race with my two sons in a three-driver lineup, and it was a lot of fun.

It is really simple to understand, and the functions on the BMW M4 GT3 are very appealing to me.

Despite the fact that I had no previous GT3 experience, driving the BMW M4 GT3 on the course was quite enjoyable and simple.

I put in a lot of track time out there, and I gained a lot of knowledge and experience during the week, which helped me develop significantly.

• Obviously, there were a lot of things I needed to learn during the course of the weekend, but overall, it was a fantastic experience.

• We are confident that the vehicle is capable of performing admirably; all of the development and testing that we conducted over the past 18 months has proven fruitful, and I am extremely pleased with the results.
• Even if the final outcome was a little disappointing, given the speed with which we were able to demonstrate it, especially near the end, I am generally pleased with it.

A terrific job was done by the staff. “To complete a 24-hour race with only a short roll-out and then immediately thereafter is an incredible accomplishment.”

Hot Rod Charlie Hits on All Cylinders in Dubai

Hot Rod Charlie swept the locals off their feet in his Meydan Racecourse debut on February 4, setting himself up nicely for a shot at the Dubai World Cup sponsored by Emirates Airline, which will take place in seven weeks (G1). As well as serving warning to possible opponents eyeing the big race, Hot Rod Charlie’s trainer, Doug O’Neill, said he “undertrained” Hot Rod Charlie for his dominant performance in the Al Maktoum Challenge Round 2 Presented By The Longines Record (G2). This year’s World Cup Carnival in Dubai reached its midway this week, with Super Saturday March 5 and World Cup night itself on March 26 serving as the anticipated highlights of the fourth week of the carnival.
