The tale of the United Arab Emirates flag is widely known, yet it is always worth telling again. History
The Arab Revolt, a British-backed Arab rebellion against the Ottoman Empire during World War I, was the first time the Pan-Arab colors were merged in a single banner in 1916, when the Arab Revolt flag was first flown. The Arab flag was devised by British soldier and diplomat Sir Mark Sykes (1879 – 1919) to foster solidarity among the Arab forces fighting in the Middle East. A large number of Arab countries have adopted the Pan-Arabic colors as part of their national flags after the Arab Revolt of 2011.
The United Arab Emirates flag was presented for the first time on December 2, 1971, the anniversary of the country’s formation (UAE National Day).

Meaning of the Colours
Each of the following ancient Arab families and caliphates were represented by the colors of the Arab Revolt’s flag:

The colors, Al Maainah explained in an interview with The National newspaper in 2011, were chosen for reasons that were more local in nature. Dimensions and Design
The national flag of the United Arab Emirates is defined by Federal Law No. 2 (published in 1971). According to the legislation, the flag must be rectangular in shape with a length that is twice as long as it is wide. The flag is broken into rectangles for easy identification. The first section, which is red, is located near to the pole. It is equivalent to one-fourth of the whole length of the flag. In the remaining area, three equal horizontal bars have been drawn over the surface. The top band is made of green, the middle band is made of white, and the bottom band is made of black.

Brief History
In 1820, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah, and Umm al-Quwain banded together to form the Trucial States, which remained associated with the United Kingdom throughout the rest of the nineteenth century. The flag that was selected to signify this alliance was a horizontal triband of red, white, and red with a seven-pointed gold star in the center. Trattoria
The UAE flag pizzas will be available from November 3 at Dubai’s genuine Italian restaurant. The themed pizza, which is available for Dh60, is served with tomato sauce, mozzarella, baby spinach, black olives, and sweet tomatoes, among other ingredients.
Butcha
For the occasion, the Turkish-born steakhouse and butcher shop, which was developed specifically for meat enthusiasts, will be offering burgers and sliders in the colors of the UAE flag. A handcrafted char-grilled burger, lettuce, tomatoes, and Butcha’s distinctive mayonnaise will be served with Butcha’s UAE flag sliders (Dh78). A variety of toppings, such as smoked beef, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, and portobello mushrooms, are included in each of the sliders. On November 3, coffee drinkers will also receive a complementary biscuit in the shape of the UAE flag with their coffee.
Retro Feasts
A nutritious lunch by the beach may be had at Retro Feasts at The Beach (JBR), which serves poke bowls decorated with sun-blushed tomatoes, feta cheese, black beans and green capsicum in UAE flag colors. On November 3rd, Dh35 will be available.

Flags, Symbols & Currency of United Arab Emirates
The flag of the United Arab Emirates was formally adopted on December 2, 1971, marking the country’s 50th anniversary. The flag is divided into three equal horizontal bands of green, white, and black, with a larger vertical red band on the hoist side of the flagpole in the center. It has a color pattern with a number of other Arab countries, including Kuwait, Palestine, Syria, and Iraq, as well as the United Arab Emirates. These are the colors of the Pan-Arab flag: green represents fertility, white represents neutrality, black represents petroleum riches, and white represents unification (red).
Since 1975, all emirates have used the official federal flag seen above interchangeably with the flag of their respective emirate.

Arms and Armorial bearings A golden falcon carrying a crimson parchment with the name of the country written in Kufic calligraphy was selected as the national symbol of the United Arab Emirates in 1973, and it has remained in use since that time. The Currency of United Arab Emirates is the United Arab Emirates dirham
Emirati dirham is the currency of the United Arab Emirates, which is sometimes known as the United Arab Emirates dirham or the United Arab Emirates dirham. It is denoted by the abbreviation “AED” and the sign “Dhs” or “DH” on medical records. The AED has been in use since 1973, when it was introduced to replace older currencies such as the dirham and the riyal of Dubai and Qatar.
