Its 828-meter height provides it a commanding presence in the heart of the city’s commercial district. The Burj Khalifa is an experience that provides a comprehensive overview of the city’s highlights in a single visit, and it should be at the top of your list of must-see attractions. Plan to spend at least a half-day here at the Burj Khalifa, in order to see all of the attractions that may spark your curiosity.

Taking photos from the observation deck of Dubai’s tallest skyscraper in order to identify its location in the city’s skyline before exploring the building’s various eateries.

2. Downtown Dubai-The Dubai Fountain

This spectacular sight is located on the ground floor of the Burj Khalifa and has the biggest synchronized fountain display in the world. Its jet streams fly to heights of up to 150 meters, while the waves softly swirl in sync to musical numbers, keeping tourists amused until 11 p.m. a night. In addition, the Dubai Fountain is situated in a prime position in the heart of Downtown Dubai, where diners can take in the stunning spectacle while dining on some of Dubai’s finest cuisine while overlooking the fountain.

3. Dubai Water Canal

The canal, which opened at the end of 2016 and is Dubai’s newest addition to its tourist attractions, is the city’s newest draw. The water canal was built at a cost of around 2.7 billion AED and has a length of approximately 3.2 kilometers. The 12m-long bicycle path and running track in front of the waterfall are particularly interesting features. One disadvantage of this is that the sun is quite hot around midday, which can be uncomfortable for tourists. No location, on the other hand, is more charming for a quiet evening out.

4. Dubai Mall/Dubai Marina

Aside from being home to the world’s largest mall, the Dubai Mall, which can be found at the foot of the Burj Khalifa, Dubai is unlike any other tourist destination in the world. ‘Ginormous’ is the word to describe the scale of the Dubai Mall, which is comparable to the size of fifty regular soccer fields. Dubai Mall provides a cause to shop for everyone who visits Dubai, and it has a range of the greatest goods from all over the globe. It should be included in your travel plans to and from Dubai.

You’ll be surrounded by some of the architecture that has made the Dubai Marina so famous. The Dubai Marina and the aforementioned Dubai fountain are visible from a ferry ride that departs at 5 p.m. to enjoy the sunset and the view of the cityscape from the water.

5. Palm Jumeirah-Burj Al Arab

Dubai has come a long way in terms of making the seemingly impossible become a reality. It would have been impossible for most people to believe that having a whole island fashioned like a palm tree was even possibly viable in a predominantly arid location. However, Dubai has outdone itself once again, since this is the world’s largest artificial island to date! It is so huge that while looking at the planet from outer space, the Palm Jumeirah is clearly visible. In addition to being a big place, it is also a luxurious one, since it is home to around 30 of the world’s most luxurious hotels and other lodgings, with the famed Burj Al Arab Hotel at its center.

On top of that, you may laze about on the Jumeirah beach and get a tan, or you can visit the Jumeirah Mosque to get a full sense of the island’s culture.

6. Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo

One of the most frequently used words throughout history is – live! This is something that can be accomplished in two days in Dubai without spending a lot of money. Enjoy the opportunity to observe around 33,000 species in the most comprehensive underwater zoo in history, as well as the excitement of scuba diving and the passage of animals over your head in a transparent glass tank. The fantastic aquarium provides your children with an enthralling experience that makes them feel as though they are closer to these aquatic animals.

It is a terrific place to take the kids for a day of touring and learning about the animal life.

Taking in the beautiful buildings of the site may keep you entertained for hours on end.

7. Dubai Desert Safari Tour

For this reason, the desert experience is quite simple to overlook when planning your visit to Dubai. Because Dubai seems like an ordinary metropolis with a glimpse into the future, the desert experience is relatively easy to overlook when planning your visit to Dubai. Make no mistake, though, a Dubai Safari trip is a work of art in terms of sophistication. The culmination of this journey is an evening spent camping in the desert. Some of the fun camp activities include dressing up in Emirati garb, watching the local belly dancers, dune bashing, henna painting, and quad biking after consuming tea brews that are unavailable anywhere else in the world.

The trip may be completed by visiting theme parks and taking a photograph in front of a picture frame.

8. Abu Dhabi

The capital of the United Arab Emirates is about an hour’s drive away from Dubai and is a wonderful destination to visit when seeing Dubai. The evolution of the United Arab Emirates is depicted in a simple and understandable manner. You can take advantage of the finest that the Emirates has to offer. The United Arab Emirates also boasts historical landmarks such as Al Ain, which are ideal for touring and depict the story of conquests and all of the bursts of triumph and monarchy that have occurred throughout the country’s long history.

Even though Abu Dhabi is not Dubai, it has its own thrills and beautiful surprises to offer.

9. Ski Dubai

Dubai is the land of the impossible, and it may seem strange to go on a Dubai desert safari trip while also finding a place to go skiing in the same city. Skiing is available in the Mall of the Emirates, which boasts a 22,000m2 ski area. The indoor ski zone is maintained at a constant temperature of -1°C and provides the sensation of snow and enjoyment. Nothing can compare to the sense of awe that comes from having a diverse range of experiences. And what’s even more remarkable is that all of these events take place in the same location, saving both money and stress.

10. Gold Souk

This explains Dubai’s eponymous designation as “the city of gold.” Despite the fact that it is a conventional marketplace, Gold Souk is a gold-filled sanctuary, with gold and beautiful jewels gleaming from every shop in the marketplace. Over the years, it has established itself as a popular tourist destination and as one of the locations where you can receive the greatest rates for high-quality gold. Your Dubai itinerary should include it, and you should check it off as soon as possible during your two-day visit.

How to Get Around Dubai

Dubai is home to some of the world’s top tourist attractions, which are complemented by some of the world’s best transportation networks. Depending on where you wish to go in Dubai, you may want to consider the following modes of transportation:

Trains:

In order to fit in as many activities as possible into your two days in Dubai, you must organize your schedule carefully and take advantage of every opportunity. That means that you don’t want to lose any of your valuable time getting stuck in traffic. Fortunately, the complicated Dubai train network allows for significant time savings. You may use the Dubai Metro, the monorail, or the tram, depending on your preference. TheDubai Metrois a rapid driverless train network that operates on two lines: the red and green lines.

  • The Sheikh Zayed Road is covered by the red lines, while the Dubai Creek, Bur Dubai, and Deira are covered by the green lines.
  • Tickets for the Gold and Silver classes are available separately, with the Gold class having one train carriage and costing twice as much as the Silver class.
  • Your Dubai schedule should include some time spent on the Palm Jumeirah Island, and the easiest way to get there is by the Palm Monorail, which runs between the city and the island.
  • Located between two major metro stations, the Dubai tram links the Dubai Marina Metro Station and the Dubai DMCC Metro Station.

Furthermore, the Dubai tram runs on one-of-a-kind street-level rails that connect highly populated areas, allowing for significant time and cost savings. That is advantageous and successful in terms of time savings.

Taxis:

When traveling across the city, taxis are the most convenient mode of transportation. However, because all taxis in Dubai operate on a metered basis, you may have to wait for a long time before your taxi arrives. This may be really aggravating. This is the most readily available and easily accessible kind of cab transportation in the city of Dubai. Prices start at AED 5 at all general areas, with the exception of famous tourist sites such as the Burj Khalifa, the Mall of the Emirates, and the Dubai Mall, where prices start at AED 10.

These are mobile-based taxis that are giving the RTA taxis a run for their money, according to the company.

Despite the fact that these are a little expensive, you get first-class service in a luxury vehicle.

As a result, taking a cab throughout town at night is the quickest and most convenient mode of transportation.

Rental Car:

You may also hire a car at the Dubai International Airport or at a number of other places across the city, including Thrift, Dollar, Hertz, and W B Rent a Car, which are all located near the airport. When you factor in the cost of petrol, this is the most expensive mobile alternative accessible to travelers. Car maintenance contributes to the overall expense of owning a vehicle.

Water Transportation:

  • The Dubai Ferry is a renowned tourist attraction and should be included in your itinerary for your two-day stay in Dubai. Water transportation is elegant and efficient, and it allows you to save time and avoid traffic congestion. Despite the fact that water taxis are quick and efficient, they are quite expensive. Apart from that, it will allow you to capture photographs of Dubai’s most notable landmarks while on the water
  • And last, there is the Abra ride, which is the most charming way to experience Emirati culture. It is a local boat trip that can accommodate around 20 persons at a time.

The months of January and February are the busiest for tourists, with the Dubai Shopping Festival taking place during this time.

Dubai Holiday Planning Tips

When planning a two-day vacation to Dubai, it is essential to prepare ahead of time in order to get the most out of the city in such a short amount of time. Plans for accommodations, transportation, and sightseeing should be included in your schedule. The following are some helpful hints for organizing your Dubai vacation itinerary:

Lodging:

In Dubai, there is never a shortage of places to stay. Nonetheless, you may wish to book ahead of time to prevent uncomfortable circumstances with accommodations and to secure the nicest hotel rooms before the busy season when the city becomes overcrowded. You may look at rental websites and choose a hotel that is both comfortable and conveniently located near the starting point of your journey. Hotel choices include the Atlantis Hotel as well as other high-end establishments.

Comfortable Outfits:

The majority of individuals, particularly women, find this stage of arranging a vacation to Dubai to be stressful. When visiting Abu Dhabi’s Grand Mosque and every other mosque, you may only be required to dress in the customary abaya and headscarf, according to local custom. You would be startled to see people in barely clad attire on the Jumeirah beach and other popular tourist destinations.

Food:

Plan ahead of time to take advantage of the city’s extensive culinary offerings while touring Dubai in two days. Consider starting your day with a leisurely breakfast by Dubai Creek or the Burj Lake, and ending the day with supper at one of the restaurants in the vicinity of the Burj Khalifa. Due to the fact that Dubai is a largely Muslim region, its cuisine is diverse and contains practically all food categories, with the exception of pork. The Souk Al Bahar is the ideal location to titillate your taste buds with the exquisite cuisines offered in Dubai, and it is located in the heart of the city.

Mobility:

Learn about the many modes of public transportation available in Dubai and make a strategy for how you will get about before you go. Those traveling from European nations can take a direct flight from New York City to Dubai and save money by purchasing two tickets at the same time. You may also fly to Abu Dhabi and then take a one-hour taxi journey to Dubai from there.

Set A Budget:

There is always something to purchase in Dubai, especially if you visit the gold souks in Deira, Al Farida, the Dubai Mall, and the Spice Souk, which are all worth seeing. You must, however, work within your financial constraints to prevent overpaying.
