The coldest winter month is often January, with lows of approximately 15 degrees Celsius (49 degrees Fahrenheit), while the warmest summer month is typically July, with highs of more than 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit).
People
Over the past two centuries, Dubai’s population has slowly increased from a few thousand native residents to well over two million, representing a tenfold increase. The majority of the early population growth were the result of merchants from neighboring nations deciding to migrate to Dubai because of the city’s business-friendly atmosphere, according to the United Nations Population Division.
