This natural saltwater creek, tidal inlet and watercourse or waterway located inDubai, United Arab Emirates, has been defined as a natural saltwatercreek, tidal inlet and watercourse or canal (UAE). It stretches approximately 9 miles (14 kilometers) inwards and creates a natural harbor that has historically been utilized for trade and transportation. History

Deira and Bur Dubai were historically split by the creek, which served as a natural boundary between the two areas. It is estimated that the Dubai Creek Skyscraper will cost AED3.67 billion (US$1 billion) to construct and is projected to be finished by 2022 at the earliest, although the exact completion date is uncertain at this time because to the COVID-19 epidemic.
