Safar

Safaris is a mechanic who also happens to be an Emirati who lives in Abu Dhabi. Safar is a buddy and acquaintance of Ramsey’s who temporarily assumes responsibility for the God’s Eye.

Biography

Ramsey made the decision to deliver her hacking equipment, the God’s Eye, to her buddy Safar since he was the only person she thought she could trust prior to being kidnapped by the men of Moses Jakande. Safar was charged with the responsibility of keeping the God’s Eye secure. In the meantime, Safar was working on the idea that Ramsey intended him to sell the hacking device due to the fact that Ramsey had concealed it in a speed drive. He gave it away to a Jordanian prince who was seeking for a high-performance drive for his Lykan HyperSport race car.

Furious 7

When Ramsey, Dominic Toretto, and the rest of his team arrived in Abu Dhabi, Safar greeted them on the beach of the resort where they had booked their accommodations. His apology for giving the God’s Eye to the prince demonstrates his desire to make right for his error. Ramsey and the others are invited to a party hosted by the prince at the third and tallest of the Etihad Towers, which is the highest point in the city. The prince’s celebration has been ruined, and despite Ramsey’s attempts to make amends, the prince is furious with the guests for spoiling it after having invited them to the party in the first place.

Ramsey

A hacker and the inventor ofGod’s Eye, Ramsey is a member of Dominic Toretto’s Crew and a member of the Syndicate.

Biography

Ramsey is the inventor of the “God’s Eye,” a hacking equipment that allows him to see into the minds of others. When equipped with a camera, The God’s Eye is capable of hacking any brand of technology and relaying the information obtained back to its owner in about four minutes. Ramsey was well aware of the advantages that the God’s Eye gave for both good and terrible reasons, but she was unable to prevent it from being destroyed. Ramsey sent the God’s Eye to her friend Safar in Abu Dhabi, where it will be kept safe.

In the course of their journey via road, Jakanade’s men intended to bring her to him, where they would subsequently vanish to a secure spot and torture her in order to obtain information regarding God’s Eye’s whereabouts.

Furious 7

“There is only one thing that can hold a bunch like this together. Which is more important: fear or loyalty? And I don’t detect a shred of trepidation among any of you.” Ramsey to the Dominic Toretto’s Crew’ When Dominic Toretto and his group arrive in the Caucasus Mountains, Ramsey is still being kept hostage by Kit and his mercenaries. She was being kept captive in a vehicle whose rear was being pulled away. Brian O’Conner boarded the bus and rescued her. When she couldn’t get out of the car, she had to hop onto Dominic’s 1970 Dodge Charger R/T.

  • Dominic utilizes the Charger’s hydraulic system to launch Ramsey up into the car’s sunroof, where she jumps into the vehicle.
  • Ramsey and Dominic are surrounded by Jakande and his personal convoy once again, this time on the highway.
  • The automobile, on the other hand, is steered toward the cliff’s edge, where Dominic instructs Ramsey to wear a helmet.
  • During the descent, Ramsey goes unconscious and is subsequently extricated from the truck by Dominic and the other passengers.
  • When Dominic inquires about the whereabouts of the God’s Eye, Ramsey responds by saying that she had shipped the gadget to a friend in Abu Dhabi.
  • Safar reveals that he sold the God’s Eye to a Jordanian prince who intended to use the gadget for a high-speed drive in the Lykan HyperSport, which is one of the most costly automobiles ever created.
  • With the assistance of Letty Ortiz, she assisted Tej Parker in hacking the security of the tower.

Ramsey and Tej were unable to access the system when Letty was apprehended by Kara, one of the prince’s security guards, and the tower’s security kept them out.

Now that they have reclaimed the God’s Eye, Ramsey employs it to track down Shaw, who has been hiding in an abandoned warehouse outside of the city for some time.

Nobody’s effort to assassinate Shaw without the assistance of the others, they lost the God’s Eye to Jakande.

In order to do this, they would engage in a game of “hot potato” with Ramsey.

Ramsey began removing the God’s Eye off Brian’s vehicle with a hacksaw.

Brian handed her over to Roman Pearce and Tej, and she kept hacking the God’s Eye until Jakande destroyed the radio tower she was using to communicate with the God’s Eye.

Ramsey was presumed dead by Jakande, who was unaware that the bridge under which Roman’s car was wrecked had been used to conceal Letty Ortiz’s automobile, which was used to transport Ramsey.

Letty’s automobile was hit by a missile and would have been destroyed if it hadn’t been for the intervention of Luke Hobbs, who crashed the drone into an ambulance that had been stolen.

When Letty and Ramsey are attacked, they are targeted by a vindictive Jakande who attempts to murder them.

Soon after Jakande is killed by Hobbs and Dominic has recovered from his second automobile accident, Ramsey joins the team on the beach, where they will remain for some time.

When Dominic is getting ready to leave the group, Ramsey inquires as to if he intends to say farewell to them. Dominic reminds her that “it’s never goodbye” and that they should leave the beach immediately.

The Fate of the Furious

“Among a bunch of people like this, just one thing holds them together: their mutual respect. Are you motivated by fear or by loyalties? Not a shred of fear can be found among any of you.” Ramsey to the Dominic Toretto’s Crew When Dominic Toretto and his group reach the Caucasus Mountains, Ramsey is still being kept hostage by Kit and his men. Despite the fact that she had been thrown off the vehicle, Brian O’Conner boarded the bus and managed to free her. The only way out of the car was to climb onto Dominic’s 1970 Dodge Charger R/T.

  • Ramsay is flung upwards toward the sunroof of the Charger by Dominic, who utilizes the hydraulic system on the vehicle to propel her there.
  • Jakande and his personal escort had surrounded Ramsey and Dominic once again on the road.
  • To Ramsey’s surprise, Dominic had steered his vehicle closer to the cliff’s edge and advised him to wear a helmet.
  • As they are driving down, Ramsey passes out in the car and has to be extricated by Dominic and the others.
  • Asked where the God’s Eye is, Ramsey reveals that she had sent it to a friend in Abu Dhabi, who had then returned it to her to Dominic.
  • In Abu Dhabi, Safar informs them that the God’s Eye was sold to a Jordanian prince who needed the equipment for a high-speed drive in aLykan HyperSport, which is one of the most costly automobiles ever constructed.
  • Assisted by Letty Ortiz, she assisted Tej Parker in hacking the security of the tower.

Ramsey and Tej were unable to access the system when Letty was apprehended by Kara, one of the prince’s security guards, and the tower’s security locked them out.

As soon as they get their hands on the God’s Eye, Ramsey immediately sets about locating the fugitive Shaw, who has taken refuge in an abandoned warehouse outside of town.

Nobody after their unsuccessful effort to murder Shaw alone.

Ramsey would be used in a game of “hot potato” in order to accomplish this.

Ramsey took the God’s Eye from Brian’s vehicle and began chopping at it with a hacksaw.

Brian handed her over to Roman Pearce and Tej, and she kept hacking the God’s Eye until Jakande destroyed the radio tower she was using to communicate with the gods.

In his ignorance, Jakande thought Ramsey had died, and he was driven to Letty Ortiz’s automobile, which had been hidden beneath the bridge under which Roman’s car had been wrecked.

If it weren’t for the involvement of Luke Hobbs, Letty’s automobile would have been completely wrecked after being hit by a missile.

Ramsey is successful in hacking the God’s Eye and regaining control of her gadget, which was previously lost.

The combined efforts of Hobbs and Dominic’s intervention prevented the terrorist from assassinating both of them.

Mia Toretto stands by and observes Brian engage in playful activities with his son Jack and fiancée Mia Toretto.

When Dominic is getting ready to depart the group, Ramsey inquires as to if he has any plans to say farewell to the members of the group. After telling her “never goodbye,” Dominic and his friends depart from the beach together.

“I know it’s a poor moment to bring it up, but I don’t drive,” Ramsey confides in Dominic Toretto. Ramsey and her friends Tej and Roman arrive at Dom and Letty’s farmhouse in Thailand, where she shows them the SOS video that Mr. Nobody had sent to her before his plane crashed. She says that the plane crashed in Montequintoand that the crew is traveling there to intercept the debris in order to figure out what Mr. Nobody was hiding for them in the first place. Personality

Ramsey is a computer programmer who sees the world through the lens of a “binary” way of view: as a series of ones and zeros. She can quickly figure out who she can and cannot trust based on that single point of view alone. She extended her reasoning to Dominic Toretto’s squad, concluding that the only thing that held a group like theirs together was terror or allegiance to their leader. Ramsey, like the majority of Toretto’s crew, is a strong-willed and tough-minded guy in most aspects of his life.

Fundamentally, she is a “nice person,” but she is also a loner who prefers to be alone and feels uncomfortable in large gatherings of people.

Ramsey, on the other hand, learns the hard way during the mission to track down Decker Shaw and retrieve her God Eyes program that she can’t do everything alone and that she must learn to operate as part of a team.

Ramsey opted to permanently join Dom’s team after successfully completing the mission and developing a strong relationship with them.

Abilities

  • Dedicated to computers and programming, Ramsey approaches life from a “binary” point of view, seeing it as a sequence of one and zeros. Her sole point of view allows her to readily determine who she can and cannot trust. In the case of Dominic Toretto’s squad, she used her reasoning and came to the conclusion that only fear or loyalty could keep a group like theirs intact. Ramsey, like the majority of Toretto’s squad, is a strong-willed and tough-minded guy in general. Those who are not familiar with her cockiness and self-assured demeanor are likely to find her offensive. On the most fundamental level, she is a “nice person” who prefers to be alone and feels uncomfortable among large gatherings of people. Hacking is Ramsey’s principal interest in technology, which he pursues in great detail. Ramsey, on the other hand, learns the hard way during the mission to track down Decker Shaw and retrieve her God Eyes program that she can’t do everything by herself and that she must learn to operate in a team. Ramsey opted to stay with Dom’s team after completing the assignment and developing a strong relationship with them.

Dario Catapano

Dario arrived to London from Italy many years ago with his spouse in order to start a fresh life in a new city. Except for his extensive knowledge of fish and his previous job at a bar during his university years, he had no prior cooking experience. He studied Marine Biology at the University of Naples. Beginning his culinary career at a collection of Italian restaurants where he learnt the fundamentals of cooking, Dario had a strong desire to learn more and develop into a more accomplished chef.

  • Because Dario lacked professional culinary training, his primary sources of inspiration were his family and the food that he ate as a child, which was often fresh from their garden.
  • This is what helped him prepare for the vast amount of covers he would encounter at Bread Street Kitchen.
  • His first love is catching and cooking fish, but he is also interested in the authenticity of product and how it should be prepared with care.
  • It was the inauguration of Bread Street Kitchen Singapore that marked a watershed moment in Dario’s career, as it opened his eyes to new flavors and ingredients.

In the following years, Dario worked as Head Chef at Heddon Street Kitchen until returning to Bread Street Kitchen as Executive Head Chef in 2019.

Dmitri Perlutchi

Dmitri, the Head Sommelier at Bread Street Kitchen, discovered his love for the hospitality industry while training as a Chef at a culinary school. In his many years in the restaurant industry, he worked in a variety of departments and realized that the beverage department and front of house were his strongest areas, as well as those in which he delighted. He enjoys working in the hotel sector because it allows him to meet individuals from all over the globe who are willing to share their experiences and expertise.

During his time working at At.Mosphere, the world’s tallest restaurant, which is located on the 122nd story of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, he experienced his finest professional moment.

It was tough for him to choose his favorite wine because there are so many unique and beautiful wines produced all over the world, but one of his favorites is Burgundy Pinot Noir.

Dennis Apostolakos

Dennis is of Greek and German descent, and he began his professional career in the hotel industry when he was relatively young. Initially, he concentrated on the entertainment industry, working on television shows and a radio program, but he soon shifted his concentration entirely to the realm of drinks and guest service. Dennis has been working with Gordon Ramsay Restaurants in London for many years, where he has focused on integrating his love of travel with a greater understanding of beverages by visiting distilleries, breweries, and vineyards across the world.

This is because to the fact that it is powerful, flavorful, and 2 dimensional due to the fact that the temperature influences it during the time it takes to drink it.

On the Drinks Menu at Bread Street Kitchen, his favorite drink is ‘The Long Night,’ which is a complex blend of flavors and whiskeys that results in a bittersweet dessert cocktail that is perfect for the holidays.

Given the expectations, this was a huge disappointment. The service was sporadic at best. We found ourselves always needing to ask for stuff. Ice for the Luke warm water was supplied after the customer requested it in an ice bucket. When I switched from red to white wine, the white glass was taken away, and when I inquired about the whereabouts of the red glass about 15 minutes later, it was eventually delivered. This year’s Claiming Crown, which is modeled after the Breeders’ Cup, is a collaboration between the National Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association (NHBPA) and the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA).

  • For claiming prices ranging from $7,500 (or less) to $35,000, qualified horses from all around the country competed in the six-race event, which offered guaranteed prizes totaling $500,000 to qualifying horses who had started at least once since January 1, 2009.
  • Trainer Mike Maker burst onto the Claiming Crown scene in 2007, when the event was hosted at Ellis Park in Kentucky, winning three races from five starters in his first year on the circuit.
  • Headache and Inca King, two of the Ramseys’ horses, proved to be too strong for their adversaries to handle in Claiming Crown XII, winning the $150,000 TVG Claiming Crown Jewel and the $100,000 Bremer Bank Claiming Crown Emerald, respectively.
  • As racetrack owners, the Ramseys are no strangers to achieving success at any level of the sport.
  • They have also raced Kitten’s Joy, the 2004 Champion Turf Horse, and Roses, the winner of the 2005 Dubai World Cup (UAE-I) in May.
  • The fact that they have returned year after year to compete in the Claiming Crown just goes to show how popular and prestigious the tournament has become.

The Pepsi Iron Horse

On paper, Sea Gaze, who is owned and trained by Steve Asmussen, looked to be the only horse capable of winning the $50,000 Pepsi Claiming Crown Iron Horse. With his recent ten-race record consisting of eight victories, one second, and a third, the 6-year-old gelding was bet down to 2-to-5 favored, the shortest price of the day, according to the oddsmakers. The winner, Maggi Moss’ Roaring Home, roared to the early lead and heroically held on to that shrinking lead all the way to the line to defeat the favorite by three-quarters of a length in 1:43.79 for one and sixteenth miles.

“We were able to make the lead, set a comfortable pace, and in the stretch, I still had a lot of horse,” Centeno said of the victory.

That victory marked the gelding’s first victory in more than a year and heralded a comeback to his previous peak performance.

Mithrandir (CHI) finished fourth, 8 14 lengths behind Freesgood and Lloron Jotace, who were the last two horses to cross the finish line (CHI).

The prospect of a kiss was eliminated. 4-D Stables in Kentucky bred and trained Roaring Home, who is currently owned by Chris Richard. This was his tenth victory in 37 races, and the $27,500 first-place pay brought his total career earnings to $125,512 dollars.

The Budweiser Express

Moralist’s workmanlike triumph in the $50,000 Budweiser Claiming Crown Express was definitely the most heartwarming tale of the day. Despite the fact that Moralist was scheduled to compete in the Claiming Crown last year, his trainer Tammy Domenosky discovered him unwell in his stall at Canterbury Park two weeks before the race, suffering from a severe attack of colic. Fortunately, an emergency operation was conducted by a medical team from the University of Minnesota, which saved his life. As he healed on a farm in Lakeville, his owners – Bill Kroska, Stan Krupke, and Greg Peterson, who together form the appropriately called Miracle Logistics, Inc.

In the words of Domenosky, “You try not to become connected, but with him, you can’t stop it.” When you send a horse to the veterinary clinic, he or she is unlikely to return – especially if the animal has a twisted belly.

It’s really a fantastic way for things to have turned out.” After winning the $35,000 Honor The Hero Turf Express at Canterbury and finishing third in the $125,000 Arlington Sprint Handicap at Arlington Park in his only two starts in 2010, Moralist, a Kentucky-bred five-year-old gelded son of Talk Is Money and the Risen Star mare Vita Eterna, was sent off as the 9-to-10 favorite in the Budweiser Express.

  • Making the transition from grass to dirt following those turf races proved to be no problem for Moralist.
  • Thegreatcrosby made a late charge from second-to-last position, but was unable to bridge the distance between himself and a resolute Moralist at the finish line.
  • Churubusco finished third, a length and a quarter behind Thegreatcrosby in the final standings.
  • The stewards disqualified Cape Hatchet from the race.
  • “It’s really gratifying to be the winner.
  • Moralist, who was bred by John Severance and Jill Baker, won the race and received $27,500 in prize money, bringing his total winnings to $177,689.

TheDaily Racing FormGlass Slipper

Trainer Jamie Ness learnt his trade at Canterbury Park, and he put up a strong performance on Claiming Crown XII Day on his return to his home turf. Ness saddled five horses in the Claiming Crown, including one winner, one third-place finisher, and two fourth-place finishers. The highlight of the Claiming Crown was the triumph of My Irish Girl in the $75,000Daily Racing FormClaiming Crown Glass Slipper, which Ness saddled. Despite the fact that My Irish Girl, a three-year-old daughter of Closing Argument and the Rizzi mare Rich Assertion owned by Midwest Thoroughbreds, was the least experienced horse in the Glass Slipper field, she made up for it by winning – something she had done by daylight in each of her previous five starts in 2010.

  • It turned out, however, that she was up against a tough field that featured multiple stakes winner and National HBPA 2009 Claimer of the Year No Flies On Doodle; Hawaiian Sky, who was riding a three-race winning run; and Prissy Proxy, who had won three of her previous four races.
  • When there was a lot of pace in the race, her ability to rate for jockey Israel Ocampo was critical to her winning the championship.
  • Despite the fact that Margie Marie defeated Lil Dish and seized control, the initial attempt had a negative effect.
  • In addition to his triumph on Moralist in the Budweiser Express earlier in the day, this was Ocampo’s second Claiming Crown victory of the day.
  • She is, in my opinion, the Claimer of the Year.
  • It was three-quarters of a length further back to Lil Dish in fourth, who was followed by Kathleen L, Miranda Diane, Prissy Proxy, and No Flies On Doodle as they crossed the finish line under pressure.

She received $41,250 for her triumph in the Glass Slipper, bringing her total earnings for her professional career to $116,250. Midwest Thoroughbreds purchased her for $15,000 out of a six-furlong race at Oaklawn Park on March 12 and entered her in their breeding program.

The AT T Rapid Transit

Arkansas breeder James Danaher like to call his horses something that starts with the word “humble,” despite the fact that many of them have achieved far more than that adjective can be credited with. Humble Smarty, owned and trained by Bret Creighton, was no exception as he battled his way to a three-quarters-length triumph over Red Pete in the $75,000 AT T Claiming Crown Rapid Transit. “He’s been incredibly wonderful to me – he deserves this,” Creighton said of the recipient. He was coming into the Rapid Transit off five victories and two close seconds in his previous seven starts, with both of those seconds coming in stakes races.

  1. Sweeten With Gold was the first choice in the field, and he was sent off as the second choice.
  2. As they entered the final stretch, Humble Smarty was able to draw even with Max Once More.
  3. Red Pete made a late charge up the rail to join the action, but he was unable to catch Humble Smarty, who finished first in 1:09.57 for the six-furlong distance on a fast track in the first place.
  4. “Brett did an excellent job of preparing him,” says the coach.
  5. The remaining horses in the order of finish were James Wilfred, Wild Expectations, Zoeling, Grasmere Park, Outta Tune, Big City Bernie, and Six Pack Abs.
  6. As a result of receiving a $41,250 winner’s share of the Rapid Transit purse, Humble Smarty improved his total career earnings to $232,522.

The Bremer Bank Emerald

In the $100,000 Bremer Bank Claiming Crown Emerald, Kenneth and Sarah Ramsey’s Inca King was the 1-to-2 favorite after finishing third in the $175,000 Firecracker Handicap (Gr. IIT) at Churchill Downs, which followed five consecutive victories in his first five 2010 races. It was a dominating 14-length victory over second choice Tiger Lake in 1:42.80 on a good turf course for the six-year-old gelded son of Sir Cat and the Prized mare Inca Prize that justified his long-shot odds. Carson’s Honor and Dontlaffhespaidfor led the early pace down the rail, and Inca King kept up with them.

Around the second turn, Leparoux pushed him to go for more, and Inca King angled out three-wide into the stretch to prepare for his rally.

“They had us work for it,” Kenneth Ramsey remarked of the process.

It’s a great pleasure to be crowned champion here in Canterbury.” Tiger Lake was able to stave off Elusive Schemes’ comeback by a hair to maintain second place.

Following Little Wagon, the remaining horses in the order of finish were Exchanging Kisses, Prairie Fox, Carson’s Honor, Dontlaffhespaidfor, Ghost Five, and Dontlaffhespaidfor Inca King’s route to victory was made easier when the stewards scratched Gran Estreno (ARG), the winner of the 2009 Claiming Crown Emerald and the Washington Park Handicap (Gr.

Developed in Kentucky by Dr.

Roach and Parrish Hill Farm, Inca King is a champion stallion.

This was his sixteenth victory in 34 appearances.

A multiple stakes winner and winner of the 2007 Jefferson Cup (Gr. IIT) at Churchill Downs, Inca King was claimed by the Ramseys for $40,000 out of a race at Churchill Downs on November 26, 2009. Inca King was claimed by the Ramseys out of a race at Churchill Downs on November 26, 2009.

The TVG Jewel

Among the highlights of the day was the $150,000 TVG Claiming Crown Jewel, run over 1 1/8 miles on dirt and broadcast on TVG, the horse racing network on which the Claiming Crown events were broadcast. Racing Bran, a multiple stakes winner in 2010, was sent off as the slight favorite in the six-horse field, but it was the second choice, Kenneth and Sarah Ramsey’s Headache, who left the rest of the field reeling with a late rally from last place that put him a neck in front of Smarten Destiny at the finish line.

  1. Headache was celebrating his first victory in eight starts after some close calls.
  2. The Ramseys had purchased the gelded son of Tapit and the Woodman mare Pamric for $25,000 at Belmont Park on September 2, 2009, just two starts before to that victory in the Kentucky Derby.
  3. Smarten Destiny eventually finished second.
  4. The four-year-old gelding moved up in the last bend at the insistence of Leparoux, but he came into a blockage in the top straight.
  5. Ken Ramsey stated, “I like this horse, but he had given me enough of grief by finishing second, then third so many times.
  6. It’s a great deal of fun.” Strike Impact finished third, a length behind Smarten Destiny, and earned a $15,000 purse.
  7. My friend Nev was given a little leeway in the stretch.

Ramsey was all grins and appeared to be having a good time, stating, “Winning is winning, period.” It’s enjoyable no matter where you are.” Of course, the fact that you are traveling to the Claiming Crown with the event’s second all-time leading trainer and one of the finest jockeys in the country does not damage your prospects in any way.

Attendance Stable, Wagering Down

The on-track attendance of 11, 473 people contrasted well to many of the previous Claiming Crowns held at Canterbury Park, and it was a modest rise over the previous year’s attendance of 11,324 people. The amount of money wagered on the Claiming Crown races, on the other hand, reduced dramatically this year. The total amount wagered on the six Claiming Crown races in 2010 was $2,180,222, a 24 percent drop from the total amount wagered on the same events in 2009. The largest handle ever recorded for the Claiming Crown races was $3,575,778 in 2007 at Ellis Park in Kentucky, however it should be noted that there were seven Claiming Crown races that year, making it the most successful year in the series’ history.

Sampson, on the other hand, acknowledged that this was only a tiny contributing element to the total decline in handling.

Furthermore, Rachel Alexandra was scheduled to compete at Monmouth Park the following day, where the racing has much improved this year as a result of significantly greater payouts.

With the drop in wagering, the Claiming Crown proved to be another fantastic day of racing for fans, bettors, and the horsemen and women who were fortunate enough to take part.

When it comes to entertaining horsemen from all over the country for a major racing event, Canterbury Park continues to set the bar high for excellent service. 2010The Horsemen’s JournalPage load link to the previous page
