Beautiful beaches are nothing new to me, having grown up in California. In fact, after spending so much time in Malibu and on the beaches of Orange County, I’m starting to think I’m a bit of a beach expert. But I’m willing to bet you didn’t anticipate to find yourself on a beach in the Middle East. Dubai’s deep blue seas are among the most stunning in the Arabian Sea, and the city is surrounded by mountains. Furthermore, you are not need to be a guest at a posh resort in order to enjoy the waters.

Okay, perhaps a little hyperbole on my part. Among the most notable recent additions are the unmissableDubai Frame, a giant circular covered in Arabic lettering at Dubai’s Museum of the Future, and the Jorge Marin-designed Wings of Mexico. 13. You Can Easily Visit Musandam Oman

Just a short drive across the border into Oman will take you to the breathtaking Musandam Peninsula. In addition to breathtaking waterways and magnificent fossil-covered mountains, this region is rich in history. This was an interesting area for me.
