Aside from the fact that it is one of the best and cleanest airports I’ve ever seen, there are several things to do at Dubai International Airport. Whether you have a one-hour or a twelve-hour stopover, here are 10 things to do in Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport to keep you entertained!

Enjoy the Emirates Business Lounge

While working with Emirates to promote their safe and family-friendly flights between Nairobi and New York, I had the opportunity to fly in Emirates Business Class, which was a highlight of my journey thus far. While the flight experience itself has been nothing short of spectacular (as I’ve documented on Instagram), the Emirates Business Lounge at Dubai International Airport is without a doubt one of the nicest rewards of traveling with Emirates. I’ll have a separate video up soon with my full business class review, which will include a thorough tour of the business lounge, but if you’re flying Emirates Business class, you absolutely must stop by the Emirates Business Lounge at the Dubai International Airport before boarding your flight.

Shop Duty Free

Nowadays, many major airports include a duty-free shopping zone where you may get excellent prices on perfumes, liquors, souvenirs, and designer products, as well as other items. However, one of the advantages of the Dubai International Airport is that the duty free shop is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so even if you have a late stopover, you can still get your shopping done! If you know me well, you know that I can never say no to a good pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant). Because I absolutely like chocolate croissants, there is no better location to indulge than the Nutella Cafe at Dubai International Airport.

The temptation to eat another crepe was too strong for me after our dinner in the lounge; however, I did go all out with the Nutella by ordering a cup of nutella hot chocolate. Exceptionally beautiful!

Go Souvenir Shopping

I’ve previously mentioned the duty-free shopping choices available at the Dubai International Airport, but there are also a plethora of locations to pick up souvenirs and trinkets for yourself or for your loved ones at a reasonable price around the airport. A little golden model of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest structure, would make an excellent gift for your aunt, who is constantly pestering you for something after your trips around the globe.

Get Your Frappe or McFlurry Fix

At the Dubai International Airport, there are several options for dining, but if you’re searching for traditional comfort food — or to sample some American favorites — stop in inside Starbucks, McDonalds, or the Food Court at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center. Also available at the Dubai International Airport are KFC, Panda Express, Hard Rock Cafe, and several other American fast food restaurants, so fill up while you’re here.

Stock Up On the Latest Trends

Whether you forgot to bring underwear or are looking to purchase a new pair of pants, you can stop by the H M store at Terminal 3 of the Dubai International Airport to fill up on stylish pieces and essentials at a reasonable price. BathBody Works and Victoria’s Secret are also present, giving the impression that the Dubai Airport is more like a shopping mall than an airport.

Take the Kids (Or the Adults with a Sweet Tooth) to Candylicious Playland

Taking the kids to Candylicious is a great way to reward them for being so well behaved on the aircraft. They will have a blast playing in the bright, colorful environment and eating tons of sweets! As an added bonus, it’s an excellent stop for grownups with a sugar tooth, such as Jonathan!

Rest in a Green Space

Now I understand that everyone who needs to relax cannot do so at the Emirates Business Lounge during a stopover. At the Dubai International Airport, there are several areas dedicated to visitors who want to stretch out and recharge (both their bodies and their electronics) before their next trip, all of which are completely free. When combined with complimentary wifi, the layover experience at Dubai International Airport is a pleasant one for all passengers.

Whats the best way to spend 15 hrs at Dubai Airport?

You might easily spend this time exploring Dubai on your own. Depending on the length of time your passport has been valid, you may be eligible for a transit visa (which is for 72 hours). Then I’d travel to the metro station and drop my baggage off at the luggage counters before heading to Dubai Mall to spend the rest of the day. If none of the options listed above appeal to you, Terminal 3 would be the finest spot to spend your time. There are a plethora of stores where you may simply pass the time away.

• There are also a variety of dining alternatives.
• The food outlets are dispersed throughout the terminals; the main food courts are located on either end of the terminal, while cafés and coffee shops may be found throughout the terminals as well.
• If you have any plans to return to Dubai, that is fantastic; otherwise, I would recommend paying using your credit or debit card.

• Finally, short-term baggage storage is available at both Terminal 3 and Terminal 1.

How to Spend a 4 Hour Layover in Dubai

In terms of airport infrastructure, Dubai International Airport is among the greatest in the world. There is no shortage of shopping, restaurants, pubs, and other places to hang out if you are stranded in that location. However, I don’t like to hang out at airports. Time is wasted in my opinion, which is precisely why I intended to make the most of my four-hour stopover in Dubai by having a good time with friends. This is how to make the most of a four-hour stopover in Dubai so that you can make your connecting flight.

1. That seemed like a challenge to me since I knew I’d have plenty of time to do something entertaining during my stopover in the United Arab Emirates, and I knew I’d have four hours to accomplish it.
2. I didn’t have time to go dune bashing, but I did have two possibilities for things to do during my four-hour stopover in Dubai that I thought I could accomplish.
3. Climb to the top of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest structure (I didn’t have time to do this during my last visit).
4. Visit the Dubai Museum.
5. Take a spectacular helicopter trip over Dubai Due to the fact that my stopover was 3 hours and 50 minutes, I needed to move quickly.
6. I had already checked in and had only carry-on luggage, which helped to expedite the process.

I selected to take the beautiful helicopter trip over Dubai, but before, let me explain why I chose to travel to the top of the world’s tallest structure, the Burj Khalifa. If you want to get to the top of the Burj Khalifa, you will have enough time in 4 hours if you choose to do so.

There are three options for admission: general admission, fast track (which gives you priority access to the top), and “At the Top,” which is the highest observation deck and costs 500 AED. General admission is free; fast track (which gives you priority access to the top) and “At the Top” are the most expensive. At the time of writing, $1 USD was equal to around 3.7 AED. A dawn tour is also offered on Friday and Saturday at 5:30 a.m. for 125 AED on Friday and Saturday. The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world.

1. In addition, the ticket enables the bearer to priority queuing only in certain places, such as the reception area and the elevators on level 124 of the building.
2. Though not required, fast track may help to calm your anxiety if you are concerned about missing your flight.
3. This will provide you with plenty of time to travel to and from the Burj Khalifa.
4. The Burj Khalifa is 14 kilometers away from Dubai International Airport.
5. Spend just enough time at the Burj Khalifa’s observation deck to grab a few shots and then get back to the airport to catch your flight.

A Helicopter Tour Over Dubai

If you know me, you know that I am a huge fan of helicopters. I’ve had the opportunity to fly helicopters over New York City, Las Vegas, and the Grand Canyon, to name a few destinations. I adore the view from above, and it is unlike any other emotion I have while gazing down on a cityscape from any other perspective. There are a variety of helicopter trips above Dubai to select from, each with its own unique itinerary. Many depart from the Palm Dubai, which is just a short distance away from the airport.

• That is the sole reason why I chose the closer operator over the more distant one.
• Neither they nor I were compensated for saying that they performed an excellent job.
• Here’s what we’ve got: The Dubai Layover Event is a four-hour challenge that takes place in Dubai (actually 3 hours and 50 minute challenge) 8:10 Arrived in Dubai with no problems.

• There was no wait at all, and there was plenty of food available.

The Dubai International Hotel is located inside the airport terminal buildings before Passport Control (Immigration and Customs), in only Concourses A, B, and C if you are flying into Dubai International Airport.
