2020 running
There were plans for the race to take place on March 28th, 2020, for its 25th anniversary. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, it was declared on March 12th that the race would take place as scheduled, but that there would be no spectators in attendance. An additional statement was made on March 22, saying that the race had been cancelled and that the 25th anniversary festivities will be held in conjunction with the 2021 racing.
