This summer, my family and I traveled to Dubai for a short vacation that lasted only four days. Our preferred method of vacationing is to take several short trips of 4-5 days and one longer break, which allows us to see more destinations in a given year. We conducted extensive study in order to prepare for our trip, as we had done in the past. The Dubai Mall also gives access to the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Fountains, and the world’s biggest Aquarium, making it the ideal place to base yourself for a couple of days in Dubai.

All in all, it was a wonderful way to spend the day.

Make use of the entertainment available at various eateries.

Dubai is driven by a desire to construct the largest, most spectacular, and most opulent artificial constructions possible.

It’s a man-made island in the middle of the ocean in the shape of a palm tree.

It is home to some of the world’s most exclusive hotels, private gated communities, and villas.

When viewed from a helicopter or on Google Maps, the Palm appears to be a spectacular structure; but, when traveling on the ground, it is difficult to tell that you are on the island.

The majority of the island is privately owned; you may drive through the main road and see the beautiful homes on each side.

Tip: You can take a monorail ride that will take you to the beginning of the palm and back, which is a much more pleasant way to see the area than driving.

Ibin Battuta MallThis is yet another mall that we enjoyed and that is included in our Top 10 list, although it is not a commercial mall.

The Ibin Batuta mall is the largest theme-based shopping mall in the world, with a total area of 200,000 square meters.

When you enter each area, you are greeted by a massive display that portrays the nation in question, and the overall setting is truly breathtaking.

There are also excellent food courts.

The atmosphere in the Starbucks in Ibin Battuta is incredible.

Bastika is a neighborhood in Istanbul.

Furthermore, it provides a pleasant contrast to all of the glitz and glamour of Downtown Dubai.

However, it is the voyage on the abra – a wooden boat that connects Dubai Creek with Bur Dubai – that is the highlight of the trip.

You receive the impression that you are in a little town where people have not caught up with the times.

Souk du Grain et des Spikes (Gold and Spike Souk) The Gold Souk in Dubai is home to what is perhaps the world’s greatest collection of gold and diamonds all under one roof.

Even if you do not intend to shop at this location!

Because they are closely regulated by the government, the gold sold in these businesses is real, and the prices are among the lowest in the world.

Dhow Cruises are a unique way to travel.

(Despite the fact that we spent our last evening here.) In addition to the Dhow Cruise, there are many more cruise options available.

To be honest, at the end of the experience, there was nothing spectacular because the Dhow cruise doesn’t really go anywhere; it just moves around here and there, and the food is only average at best.

Other noteworthy mentions include: The Dubai Aquarium, the Mall of Emirates, and Karama Market (which should be avoided because it is a rip-off place) are all worth visiting.

We took cabs almost every day, especially when we had to travel from one location to another.

The Metro, on the other hand, is quite efficient.

In the event that you choose to hire a car, we reasoned that, given the low cost of gasoline in Dubai, you should be able to find a reasonably priced rental automobile.

It cost us AED 500 for the 12 hours while we were there.

Nonetheless, it provides you with the freedom to travel wherever you desire.
