and with another Direct set to take place at E3 in June, I don’t think there’s anything to be concerned about in terms of Bayonetta fans right now, either.

Anyway, it wasn’t the Nintendo games themselves that piqued my interest.

One thing that came as a pleasant surprise was the availability of free updates for Metroid Dread.

Granted, you’ll have to restart the game and choose the beginner mode from the beginning, but it’s a terrific game all the same.

It’s something I truly like.

When I realized it was going to be disclosed in the Direct, I think I really punched the air in excitement!

This will keep the game fresh over time and allow me to fully appreciate each set of new music as they are published, which is why I like that it will be distributed in six sections over the course of two years.

Overall, it appears like the Switch will have a lot better year than the previous two in terms of the amount of high-quality titles released on the system.
