Help – Map for K9 friends?

The most recent post was made on January 27, 2012 at 20:52. Is there anyone who can assist me? I have an appointment first thing in the morning tomorrow and completely neglected to do what I was instructed by the girl on the phone, which was to email them and ask them to give me a map! Is there anyone who has a map they could provide me? It would be really appreciated if you could. My email address is mercedes dot king71 at gmail dot com, and I can be reached at Please accept my thanks in advance!

The most recent post was made on January 2, 2013, at 21:08.

My friend has an appointment with K9 at 9 a.m.

Could someone possibly share the directions to this location?

  • Thanks The most recent post was made on January 28, 2012, at 14:11.
  • I hope you all had a good time and live happily ever after!
  • NO.
  • However, thank you so much, simpleas.
  • I’m ecstatic beyond belief!
  • Sandy Dogg, how dumb of me, I’m sorry, I hadn’t noticed what I’d done, but of course, it makes perfect sense now that I see it.
  • For the sake of completeness and completeness, does anyone know whether or not there is a Dubai Municipality dog pound located on SZR near Wellington International School?

Simpleas, you might want to consider removing your comment.

Because their website does not provide a map of their location, I would infer that they have not modified their stance.

Thank you very much.

I’ll try to go as near as I possibly can to the directions you provided and then call you.

Thank you once again for all of your assistance.

Oh no, not at all.

But it’s possible that I’ll travel out in that direction and call from a nearby location.

Are you able to provide me with any other information?

Why is it so difficult to locate any information about driving directions?

As well, if your spouse is willing to do it, we would really appreciate it!

If you don’t already know how to get there, it’s quite tough to do so.

It is located somewhere in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, near the Green Community Roundabout, but it is not immediately apparent.

Before you go, give them a call and ask for step-by-step instructions once again. If my husband gets back in time and isn’t too sleepy, I’ll ask him to give you a map through email so you can find your way. What part of the world are you coming from? Adopt a Dog in Dubai: Introducing K9 Friends

Posted on February 18, 2018|Revised on November 13, 2018|Commentary Astonishingly, the number of abandoned and homeless dogs in Dubai has always been high, and the number of stray dogs in the emirate is growing by the day. Unfortunately, because of the temporary nature of expat life, dogs in need of homes have always been a problem. People travel to the country, buy or adopt a dog, and then their circumstances change and they are no longer able to maintain the animal. This is a practice that has been occurring in Dubai for many years and continues to be practiced now as well.

If you live in Dubai or the United Arab Emirates and would want to welcome a furry companion into your house, you should begin by contacting the K9 Friends shelter to adopt a dog in the UAE.

Who are K9 Friends, and what’s their story?

K9 Friends was founded in 1989 by a group of dog enthusiasts who wanted to build a welcome ‘dog club’ for their furry friends. As they grew increasingly well-known in the neighborhood, individuals began to contact them with reports of stray dogs on the streets of Dubai that needed to be rescued from their homes. As a result, the initial “dog club” evolved into the first “dog rescue” in the United Arab Emirates. A large number of dogs were rescued and re-homed between 1989 and 2000, however by the year 2000, the problem of stray and abandoned dogs had grown too large for volunteers to continue caring for them in foster homes and paid boarding kennels on a full-time basis.

Where is K9 Friends and the shelter?

The rescuers began their work at Al Quoz and then relocated to a purpose-built refuge in the Jebel Ali Industrial Area in 2009.

How can you help K9 Friends?

Almost a decade has gone since K9 Friends relocated, and the crew at K9 Friends continues to work tirelessly on a daily basis to gather the finances necessary to feed, vet check, and care for the growing number of dogs in their care. It is necessary to maintain their shelter on a continuous basis, and fundraising and sponsorship events assist to keep K9 Friends afloat. If you are interested in adopting a dog, please know that the adoption fees and sales help to defray the costs of maintaining the shelter.

K9 Friends also organizes regular dog walking programs in which volunteers can participate.

At present, K9 Friends has 116 dogs and puppies in their facilities looking for homes.

Those interested in adopting a dog should contact them at 04 887 8739 for further information. The office is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on Friday. On the shelter’s Facebook page, K9 Friends, Dubai, as well as on their website, www.k9friends.com, you can see all of the dogs presently available for adoption.

Marina

Date of birth: 20/01/2019 Marina came to us with her six puppies, whom we took care of. After raising a beautiful litter of pups, it is now the responsibility of mommy Marina to find them a new home. Marina is not pleased with the presence of a leash at this time — it is still a work in progress. She needs to establish her confidence in a safe and secure environment — food rewards will aid in this process.

Corsa

Date of birth: March 9, 2020 Corsa is a kind and friendly young dog that enjoys car rides, play dates, and zoomies in the garden with his family. He enjoys going on walks and smelling all of the different scents. While Corsa is sociable with both people and dogs, he is also a bright youngster who picks up new skills fast – especially when rewards are on the table.

He is a highly enthusiastic puppy that requires a family that is both active and experienced, as well as enough of area to run and play. He is a harsh player and would not be a good fit for a family with young children at this time. In terms of potty training and crate training, he is making good progress and is sleeping through the night in his crate.

He is a nice, intelligent dog who, with a little training, would make a wonderful addition to the right home.

Virginia has been raised in a home, but she still has a lot of social skills to acquire. She is a bubbly, outgoing young lady who enjoys interacting with others. Virginia requires leash training while around other dogs, as well as a variety of activities to keep her from becoming bored and chewing up the house furnishings.

He is quite sociable and lots of energy, and he bounces about the room. When Marko gets enthusiastic, he may play nip like a giant puppy, which necessitates further training. He is searching for a family with older children since he is concerned that little children will tumble over as he zooms about. Marko is a lot of fun to play with and would be best suited to a villa with a garden because he requires a lot of physical activity.

Nour Nouralla – K9 Friends

A Responsive Website for a Local Animal Shelter was created. K9’s mission, as one of the most well-known dog shelters in the United Arab Emirates, is to find loving homes for all of the dogs in their care. Their website is in desperate need of a revamp in order to better promote their purpose and provide a better user experience. Because the shelter’s primary source of income is derived mostly from donations and volunteer programs, it is critical that their website clearly communicates the various ways in which people may get involved.

  • There was a dearth of understanding and dedication when it came to pet adoption in part due to the fact that around 90% of the population are expats from a variety of different nations and cultures.
  • As a result, there was an overwhelming amount of stray and abandoned dogs, which the shelter had to deal with on a daily basis.
  • Interviews with pet owners were extremely helpful in gaining a deeper understanding of their approach to pet adoption as well as addressing the users’ mental models when it came to selecting the most appropriate pets for them.
  • – With the information gathered from the user interviews, I was able to create a persona that allowed me to truly put myself in the user’s shoes throughout the design process and meet her requirements, objectives, and pain points.

I began to analyze these corporate objectives in conjunction with the user requirements that I had identified from user research: After taking into consideration both the shelter’s goals and user needs, it became clear that K9 needed to act as a “Middleman” between those who were looking to adopt and those who were abandoning their dogs, all while simulating a shopping-like experience and ensuring that new dog owners were aware of what they were getting themselves into.

Taking on the “Sweet Spot” of UX As a result, the following essential portions required to be implemented on the new platform, which culminated in the creation of the primary site navigation: Adopt Section: With search, filters, and pet profiles pages, this section addresses the urge to shop instead of adopting.

  • 3 -Volunteer Section: Getting people to participate and offer their money or time is one of the stakeholders’ top concerns.
  • Establishing the Organizational Hierarchy In order to handle the taxonomy of the site and obtain a feel of how visitors would group different site themes, a card sorting exercise was essential to achieve one of the aims, which was to redesign the information architecture.
  • The New K9 Friends Site Map is Now Available!
  • The design of these user flows served as the initial stage in the process of wireframing the final product.
  • Developing the main content section for desktop, tablet, and mobile versions of the responsive wireframes was the next stage in the process.
  • Low-Fidelity Responsive Wireframes are a type of wireframe that is responsive to the user’s input.
  • By combining them with a pink accent hue, it was able to achieve the aim of infusing the site with personality while also adding a sense of flare.
  • Creating the User Interface Kit for the New Platform In order to begin building the mid-fidelity prototype and preparing for usability testing in order to validate the design, the following stage was to flesh out the website’s sections in order to begin setting up the prototype.
  • Putting It Through Its Paces!
  • It was discovered during the testing that there were some interesting insights into how the design could be improved, such as the need to add additional images to each pet profile and the need to clarify what “Getting involved” at K9 entails.
  • Thinking about pet adoption in the context of a very specific situation presented its own set of obstacles, which demonstrated that there are always opportunities when data is acquired and thoroughly analyzed.

As a result of this initiative, I’ve learned to aim to constantly look at the wider picture rather than simply the problem at hand.

K9 Friends

“When the initial group of dog enthusiasts first got together, they envisioned a kennel club for purebred dogs along the lines of the United Kingdom’s Kennel Club. However, that never came to fruition. This was rapidly overshadowed by the more pressing need for an organization to assist in the protection and re-homing of dogs in desperate situations. The organization has grown from strength to strength over the years, and it is now well-established to the point that it is known by the vast majority of individuals in the United Arab Emirates who are interested in man’s best friend (or dog).” Thousands of dogs have been placed in loving homes as a consequence of the establishment of K9 Friends in 1989.

The condition of dogs in United Arab Emirates has also been brought to public attention through a number of means at this time.

Until today, it has grown to the point where it is known by the vast majority of individuals in the United Arab Emirates who are interested in man’s best friend.

Description

Even while K9 Friends has grown in popularity, many people are startled to hear that the organization is still quite tiny and that its continued existence is entirely dependent on donations from the general public. When people learn that K9 Friends is run entirely by volunteers, they are often surprised. The current committee is made up of five dedicated individuals who are assisted by a large number of other dedicated individuals who give up their time from their hectic schedules to assist with the care of the needy dogs, they are often amazed.

Despite this, given the magnitude of the issues confronting individuals concerned with canine welfare, a small number of people can only hope to accomplish a fraction of the work that needs to be done in this area.

These are houses where dogs will be taken in and cared for in the event of a dire emergency, if space and resources are available.

The assistance that foster parents offer to K9 Friends Re-homing Service is extremely vital to the organization.

Every year, a small number of dogs are brought to the veterinarian for euthanasia. Despite the fact that the vast majority of these dogs are too sick, damaged, or traumatized to be saved, with greater assistance, it is possible that some future pets may enjoy long and happy lives.

A custom developed regimen has been established for them, and they play in groups of up to ten dogs many times every day.
